for a wonderful party.
Everyone questionned my sanity when I said that I had invited 40 five
year olds
to my daughters party. Luckily, I knew I had you! It was lovely how
quickly
you managed to engage the children. Despite some of them coming to
Taryn's party
and seeing you for the third time, they were all absorbed in your
performance.
The balloon modelling went down a treat for all, who were happy to take
home
their teddy bears; ladybirds; balloon swords etc. We have some lovely
photos and
both of my daughters keep referring back to the party.
Cerys is now desperate to have you for her
party next year, and many
of Taryn's friends have requested you. Please don't get too fully booked
up in
April and May, or my children will be devastated!

He was on their wave length and so good that I couldn't tell if he was responding to things they were saying or if it was part of his usual routine! "Poole
Hockey Club employed James Maidment to perform at our End of Season Awards
Presentation Evening on 27th March 2010. The event was attended by
over 90 Club members and their families, representing a wide range of age
groups from under 10 to over 70.
James
was extremely helpful throughout the process, tailoring his performances to fit
in with the other sections of our Awards Evening. He provided ‘Close up magic’
at the tables as guests arrived and during their meal and this was followed
later in the evening by a ‘Magic show’ lasting approximately 30 minutes.
The
performances James provided were very well received by all present and appealed
to the whole spectrum of age groups. It certainly provided an additional level
of entertainment to the evening and we would not hesitate to use James again
for any similar events which we are arranging.

"We have used the services of Jamie on two occasions now, once to perform a Juggling show at the Cubs’ Christmas party, and secondly as a follow up to give a one hour juggling workshop during a Pack meeting.
On both occasions we were exceptionally pleased with Jamie’s work. He struck up a good rapport with the Cubs, and was able to hold their attention all the time. The latter is not an easy thing to do with this age group.
The content of both the show and workshop were pitched at just the right level. The show had plenty of ‘Wow’ factor to make it entertaining, and there was a resounding ‘Yes’ when we asked if they wanted Jamie to return and show them how to do some tricks.
The workshop was again pitched at just the right level to allow the Cubs, and leaders, to have a go at a lot of different skills and to feel that they had learned and achieved a lot in the time. The session went very quickly and there were never any slack periods. We all enjoyed it very much.
We found Jamie’s approach all the way through to be very professional, and we look forward to being able to use his services again in the future.
We have no hesitation in recommending him to other Cub or Scout sections, knowing that they will enjoy it just as much as we did."
